Each year the 2nd of January creeps up on me and reminds me of how much I miss my dad. In the 732 days since we lost him, I have gone from running two studios alongside him, to not being able to even look at my camera, to rediscovering why I started taking photographs in the first place. To honor and remember him on this difficult anniversary, I made a point to create a composition for the project that combines our individual visual aesthetics and artistic visions.
Untitled 21: taken on 01/02/16. To my father, Barry Bomzer, thank you for your love, guidance, encouragement, and inspiration.
