Untitled 19

Created on October 31st, 2015,  Untitled 19 was inspired by and composed in memory of my dad. Halloween was his birthday, and I knew I had to make time for a still life that day. The weather was perfect, a little stormy with dramatic light, and as I set up my table, camera, and subjects by the window I use for these photographs, I could feel him with me; this project was started to honor him and remain connected with him and his work after all. The resulting image is one of my favorites to date, and I hope you it enjoy too.
