When reading about the Golden Age of Dutch Art and the development of new genres such as the still-life as vanitas, it is near impossible not to become inspired. Out of text debating theories of interpretation, came this image; the last I will shoot in my current studio space. As I packed up my props and collection, I found myself wondering how this project will evolve following a change of scenery and new light from a new window, and I look forward to its visual evolution.
